Responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking and processing of incoming goods from vendors
Check that Purchase Order deliveries and confirm quantity, specifications, and performing visual and measurement checks of the deliveries to ensure that the deliveries comply with the orders
Receive, verify and file all necessary documentations accompanying the goods received as per PO instructions
Assist in resolving and following up on any discrepencies, including documenting and clarifying with Vendors, purchasers and Fleet Ops personnel
Perform Goods Receipt transactions and/or move into stocks transactions in the ERP system in a conscientious, timely and accurate manner to ensure that accuracy of the inventory data
Provide support for effective customs clearance when required
Ensure proper preservation for storage, handling and packaging for onwards shipping
Managing, organizing of materials and stock in the warehouse
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
Perform periodic counting of physical inventory as per required by the onshore warehouse and inventory management procedure
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Prepare and pack goods and materials for shipment offshore to the vessels from the onshore warehouse
Facilitate in material transportation to offshore locations
Prepare all necessary documentations to facilitate the accurate tracking, issuing out of goods to the vessel and accurate receipt of goods onboard the vessel
Coordinate with Offshore Material Coordinator / Offshore storekeeper and key stakeholder to ensure effective management of Shipping, Logistics and Warehouse requirement
Coordinate with Offshore Material Coordinator/ Offshore Storekeeper to handle returns, repair and refurbishment
Ensure that all relevant procedures of receiving, storing, counting and shipping materials are being understood and followed
Implement and carry out training to make sure that warehouse procedure is understood by both internal and external parties on handling materials
At all times, stay updated on all related procedures, onshore and offshore, and ensure all relevant stakeholders are trained and acknowledged the changes
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor within Supply Chain Management or relevant industry experience
At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
Previous experience with ERP systems
Fluent in English both oral and written
Fluency in a 2nd language (preferably the local language) is a plus
Required Knowledge and Skill(s): understanding/knowledge of ERP systems (IFS), familiar with the terminology in the oil & gas industry, understanding of oil & gas equipment
Have good interpersonal and communication skills, solution oriented with good negotiation skills, able to work independently as well as in team, structured and organized with good attention to details
